FREE Buena Chica Mule Colouring Page

Muuli värityskuva

Kaisa Määttänen really decided to call a spade a spade when she nicknamed her mule Buena Chica “Muuli” (Finnish for mule). This lovely mule-lady is from an Andalusian donkey father and a pura raza española (or PRE) mother.

What I love about Muuli is that she’s got some serious sensibilities: whenever it rains she’s always found nice and dry, because (unlike many of her pasture mates) she’ll seek shelter at the first signs of rain!

To me, Muuli and her hooman embody a wonderful alternative kind of equestrianism, where they prove every day that if a horse can do it, so can a mule.

One of Muuli’s favourite activities is cow herding and she’s got the funniest “cow face” that she reserves for when herding the cows. She really loves cows and would just hang out with them all day long if she could!

By all accounts, Muuli seems to be a sensitive soul who takes life in her own stride. I simply loved it when she was modelling this decorative Spanish tack and wanted to capture that moment in a Polaroid-style colouring page!

To keep things interesting, her ears are coming out of the photo – because what is art for if not for playing with perspective? You can also customise what it says on the Polaroid, I went with trying to make it look like someone wrote her name with a Sharpie.
