You’re looking like a wealthy woman today.
Do you feel like a wealthy woman?
Maybe you’ve got your hair and make-up done. Nice dress. Pretty shoes. Or maybe you’re rocking flip flops and jeans today.
Or maybe today comfort reigns supreme and you’re in your pyjamas with a top bun.
Either way, that is what a wealthy woman looks like.
She looks like me, and she looks like you. She looks like us.
So, every day for the next three days, I want you to look in the mirror and say, “This is what a wealthy woman looks like” – and see what comes up for you.
I promise it’ll be interesting.
Because I know you have a lot of stories about what a wealthy woman should look like. Should sound like. Should dress like. Should act like.
And none of it’s true, by the way.
When I was growing up, I didn’t really know any rich people. Certainly not rich women.
The only rich people I saw were on TV. And what did they look like?
Pencil skirts and shoulder pads, pearls, tons of make-up and tans from expensive holidays, designer clothes, big hair that was done at the salon.
So I grew up thinking that’s what a wealthy woman looks like.
But when you do that, it becomes a barrier.
Because you think, ‘Well, here I am, and waaay over there, is what a wealthy woman looks like, and there is this uncross-able gulf between us’.
You may even be thinking of the rich version of yourself, and see her way off in the distance, far, far removed from who you are right now.
But here’s the thing; the biggest change about being rich isn’t going to be how you look.
It’s going to be that you have peace of mind, that you don’t have to worry about paying bills, that you can support family members, and just knowing that you can do things.
It’s really more an absence of stress than anything else.
But you might have this vision of yourself as a wealthy woman and think, “Well, I’ll definitely be skinnier, I’ll definitely wear make-up every day, I’ll do ________”.
I want you to think about what are those things that this wealthy version of you does that you don’t do now.
Because guess what? Even when you’re wealthy, you might choose to walk around in sweats and without make-up all day. You might choose to live in the same house you are in now or choose to buy a bigger one.
You might choose to get your hairdo done at a salon or you might choose to do it at home. You might choose to buy a different car or drive around in the same one you have now.
But whatever else you choose, you’re really gonna be the same as you are right now.
Which is great!
Because that just means most of your work is already done!
All those things that you think you’re going to do when you’re successful… nah, you’re really not gonna. You’re still just gonna be the exact same person, you’re gonna be you.
And the quicker you accept that in yourself, the quicker you’ll allow abundance to flow into your life.
Into you. Because there’s not going to be this energetic barrier anymore.
So, I want you to put your hand on your heart and think (notice the emphasis changes):
This is what a wealthy woman looks like. This is what a wealthy woman looks like. This is what a wealthy woman looks like. This is what a wealthy woman looks like.
Try it out in different ways and just breathe it in. Feel the truth of it.
Feel this statement anchoring into the ground, into you, into this moment in time.
Decide that this is the moment when you chose to believe that you are a wealthy woman and this is what a wealthy woman looks like.
There’s still some stuff to work on, sure, and that’s okay.
Breathe in, and say out loud: “This is what a wealthy woman looks like”. And again, out loud: “This is what a wealthy woman looks like”.
Put your arms up to the sky and own it out loud: “This is what a wealthy woman looks like”.
Yes, you’re damned right, you’re what a wealthy woman looks like!
TODAY’S HOMEWORK:
- Every time you see yourself in the mirror, say to yourself: “This is what a wealthy woman looks like”
- Every time you think you’re not dressed flawlessly, say: “This is what a wealthy woman looks like”
- Every time you feel like you’re never going to be rich, say: “This is what a wealthy woman looks like”
